2025 Application Period

Details on the 2025 application period will be provided in the Fall of 2024.
Application Criteria
Members of the Tri-M Music Honor Society must meet the following requirements:

They must have enrolled in a curricular music ensemble for at least one semester of the current year at Manchester High School

They must exhibit leadership, service, and extraordinary quality of character in their activities at Manchester High School
-
They must have maintained for the previous semester at least an A average grade or equivalent in music with at least a B average grade or equivalent in other academic subjects
Returning members are expected to outline their contributions, achievements, and growth throughout their previous year's tenure with Tri-M in their returning application.

Selection Process
Candidates for active student membership are by a faculty committee made up of the Band, Chorus, Guitar, and Orchestra Directors at Manchester High School. Candidates are selected for membership based on their fulfillment of organization requirements, application quality, and peer nomination. The committee will also factor musicianship, overall growth, and contributions to their ensembles in their decisions.
